Dear Birth Parent,
Thank you so much for taking the time to learn about us. We want you to know that we value and support your decisions for your child throughout this process. While we can't possibly know what you are going through, we have a tremendous amount of admiration for the loving choice you are considering for your child. We think you are amazing and you already have a special place in our hearts.
From the very beginning of our relationship, we have always dreamed of being able to adopt a baby someday. We believe very strongly that family is created by love. Each of our children will be loved and cherished unconditionally. Our two boys, Ian and Alex, are also very excited to welcome another sibling and they will be very loving and protective big brothers.
We believe that your child will benefit from knowing about her birth family. We would love to have a relationship with you after the birth, if you are comfortable with that. We value your wishes and we want you to know that we will always treat you with the respect and appreciation you deserve.
We are also very committed to raising your child with an appreciation for their race. We will learn as a family about your cultural background and teach your child to take pride in their ethnicity.
